Fox Harb’r Resort Golf Course, Fox Harbour
This May, five-star golf resort Fox Harb’r is teed up to launch its new ocean course, designed by two of Canada’s top golf architects, Tom McBroom and Doug Carrick. The newly unveiled ocean links back nine features fairways that flow along the coastline, showcasing dramatic views of the Northumberland Strait. Renovation plans include a vineyard course by 2026, topping up this gated resort’s luxury amenities — which include a private runway, spa, marina and sustainable-seafood restaurant.

RADAR | THE END OF THE ROAD
Black Hole Falls
Venture beyond the end of the road for a scenic one-kilometre loop hike to this waterfall about 90 minutes northeast of Halifax, in the Annapolis Valley. Located along the Bay of Fundy is a concealed cascade at the end of the short trail outfitted with a rope-assisted descent for hikers. Water levels can limit accessibility, so time your visit for low tide to walk along the coast and explore the surrounding sea-carved caves. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the semi-precious stones embedded in the rock walls.
